Christie told WYFF that Byron was resolute about doing customized promises over customary ones. So when it came time for hers, Christie wove their joined love for humor into her show.

Byron, a designer and teacher, proposed to Christie almost a year prior on Nov. 13, 2021 at Clemson College, where the two initially met in 2006, WYFF detailed.
