A man is accused of homicide following the killing of a New York father of three who was visiting one of his children at school in Poughkeepsie.
On Sunday, 53-year-old Paul Kutz was lethally shot in the Yard by Marriott hall in Poughkeepsie, purportedly by a man he had never met.
He was visiting the area to visit his child for Family Weekend at Marist School, the Poughkeepsie Diary reports.
The yearly end of the week, which the school calls a “Marist custom,” included closely following, a football match-up, show and excursion.

Poughkeepsie police declared that two men have been captured regarding the situation, one of whom is accused of homicide.
Roy Johnson Jr., 35, was captured and accused of one count of second-degree murder and one count of second-degree criminal ownership of a weapon.
Devin Taylor, 26, was accused of two counts of second-degree criminal ownership of a weapon. The two men have criminal records and both were destitute, say police.
Johnson and Taylor were apparently remaining in the inn, yet it is muddled the way that long the two were there or what occasions hinted at the lethal shooting.
Police said shots were discharged inside and beyond the lodging. No extra wounds were accounted for, yet police reported that during a hunt of the structure, they found a room that contained “manuals connected with the creation of unstable gadgets, as well as materials with the possibility to be utilized as explosives.”
In any case, no dangerous gadgets were found, and the New York State Police Bomb Crew answered and got the material, Poughkeepsie police said.
