‘Heroic’ Metro Worker Killed Trying to Disarm Shooter Who Wounded 3 Others in Washington, D.C.

A Metro laborer was killed while endeavoring to incapacitate a functioning shooter in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, city authorities report.

The shooter’s frenzy began a city transport and finished in a Metro burrow after three individuals were shot and one more harmed. The suspect, who stays unidentified to people in general, is presently in authority. Two casualties experienced gunfire wounds to the leg and a third experienced a “fracture injury to his finger,” authorities report.

During a Wednesday public interview, Metropolitan Police Division Leader Right hand Boss Ashan Benedict called the activities of perished Metro worker Robert Cunningham, alongside different travelers, “gallant,” adding how “the way that our residents needed to intercede with outfitted shooters is upsetting to me.”
