How to Craft a Beacon in Minecraft

Before diving into the crafting process, let’s take a look at the platforms where you can find beacons in Minecraft:

To create a beacon, you’ll need the following materials:

• Nether Star x 1

• Obsidian x 3

• Glass x 5

Follow these steps to craft a beacon in Minecraft Survival mode:

Step 1: Open the Crafting Menu

Open your crafting table to access the 3×3 crafting grid.

Step 2: Add Items to the Grid

In the crafting menu, you’ll see the 3×3 grid. Place 5 glass, 1 nether star, and 3 obsidian in specific positions within the grid, as shown in the image below.

Step 3: Obtain the Beacon

Once you’ve correctly placed the materials in the crafting grid, a beacon will appear in the output box on the right side.

Step 4: Move the Beacon to Your Inventory

Finally, take the crafted beacon from the output box and move it to your inventory.
