Infosys was initially registered as Infosys Consultants Private Limited on 2 July 1981, it was founded by seven engineers in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
The company’s initial capital was $250, It was renamed Infosys Limited back in June 2011, apparently, it was relocated to Bangalore, Karnataka, in 1983. When the company became a popular and public company, its name was changed to Infosys Technologies Limited.
