Is Paul Solomon Still Alive or Dead?

Paul Solomon is an American teacher and ex-lover of the convicted killer, Carolyn Warmus. Carolyn was his colleague and lover who murder his wife Betty Jeanne Solomon in 1989.

Solomon married his wife in 1970 when he was in the United States Air Force, the couple were happy together for a while but soon began having problems about infidelity.

On January 15, 1989, Solomon found his wife dead in their home at Greenburgh condominium. She was shot nine times on the head, back and legs.

The police soon focused on Solomon as a suspect especially when they found out he was having an affair with Carolyn Warmus.

Further investigations soon uncovered evidence that Carolyn was the killer which led to her arrest and charged with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Solomon testified against his ex-lover since was given immunity by the District Attorney, however, the trial ended in a hung jury. In the second trial, the defence attorney tried to pin the murder on Solomon but this did not work because Carolyn was found guilty and sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.

Paul Solomon was removed from classroom duties and was assigned non-teaching duties in 1991 for having multiple affairs with his colleagues. He is still alive but has maintained a low profile because some people believe he killed his wife and framed Carolyn for the murder.
