Jay Briscoe is an American professional wrestler, who is currently signed to Ring of Honor (ROH). He is a two-time ROH World Champion and a one-time ROH World Tag Team Champion. He is also a member of the wrestling stable, known as The Kingdom. Briscoe started his wrestling career in 2000, where he trained under his brother Mark Briscoe. He made his professional debut in 2002 for the independent wrestling promotion Independent Wrestling Federation (IWF). He quickly gained recognition for his in-ring skills and soon started competing for other independent promotions such as Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG).
