Mangeshkar released the album Sarhadein, Music Beyond Boundaries, which contains the duet “Tera Milna Bahut Acha Lage” by her and Mehdi Hassan. The album features Usha Mangeshkar, Suresh Wadkar, Hariharan, Sonu Nigam, Rekha Bhardwaj, and another Pakistani singer, Ghulam Ali, with compositions by Mayuresh Pai and others.

Lata Mangeshkar never married anyone in her life. Lata Mangeshkar and Raj Singh Dungarpur were planning to get married, but when the latter informed his parents about the same, his father, Maharawal Lakshman Singhji, rejected their idea of getting married. The reason behind it was the fact that Lata wasn’t from a royal family. Hence, Maharawal Lakshman couldn’t let his son, Raj Singh, marry a common girl.
