A Massachusetts criminal needed for a manslaughter that occurred in 1991 was tracked down in Guatemala, where specialists say he was working a shrimp ranch.
The multi-organization examination finished on Dec. 14 when specialists followed a lead they had found recently that drove them to Mario R. Garcia, 50, at the shrimp ranch in Iztapa, where he had likewise been residing under a pseudonym for over thirty years, Massachusetts State Police said in a news discharge.
Garcia had been on the lam since he was 19 years of age, when he supposedly wounded Ismael Recinos-Garcia to death during a battle in Attleboro on Nov. 16, 1991, specialists said. He was recognized as a suspect not long after the murder, yet vanished after police got a warrant for his capture.

The US Marshals Administration Office of Foreign relations, the Tasks for Focal America and the US Branch of State Conciliatory Security Administration Abroad Criminal Examinations Unit in Guatemala composed a group to catch Garcia, specialists said.
He “endeavored to dodge catch by hopping into a waterway at the shrimp ranch however was captured and set into guardianship,” state police said.
Garcia is supposed to be removed to the U.S. to confront arraignment in Bristol District for Recinos-Garcia’s manslaughter. It is hazy whether Garcia has held a lawyer who can talk for his sake.
