Meghan King Shares ‘Revelation’ After She Couldn’t Talk to or See Pictures of Her Kids on Halloween

Meghan King is reflecting on her Halloween spent without her children.

In a video shared on Instagram Tuesday, the mother of three explained that she was alone for Halloween as her children celebrated with their dad, ex Jim Edmonds.

“I wanted to talk about what it was like not to have my children on Halloween,” she began the video. Noting that at first she was “really sad,” she a her a yelled out a companion massage for the day, which she said was an “incredibly sweet and insightful distraction.” In any case, King was struggling without her children — 4-year-old twin sons Hart and Hayes and 5-year-old daughter Aspen — whom she says she had “No FaceTime, no photographs, no contact” with, according to the video’s caption.

Meghan explained that as she heard from her companions, she heard about the battles they had with their children while celebrating the holiday.

“Then I recollected, yeah, kids suck at holidays,” she shared, adding, “Only the end of the week before Halloween, I was unable to try and do all the activities with my children in one end of the week because they were losing their minds. They were worn out and overstimulated and exhausted from their adrenaline rushing.” “I don’t think I’m mad about not having them for Halloween,” she realized. “I think we as mothers, and especially as single mothers, develop it in our minds such a lot of that we’re missing out on this tradition, this experience.”
