Miodrag Ješić would be remembered as a football great and his rugged and combative style earned him the nickname ‘Jesic the Butcher’ but aside from that, he had a wonderful scoring record.
Miodrag Jesic was born on the 30th of November in 1958 and his place of birth is Osecenica, Yugoslavia in Serbia. His childhood was not a very perfect one and the hardships he had to face in life as a kid would later have an expression in how he played soccer before eventually making the leap into coaching. He has racked in over 100 goals in a career that started in that spanned over 10 years from 1974 to 1990 whilst representing teams such as Partizan, Altay SK and eventually Trabzonspor where he eventually finished his playing career.
After retiring from playing professional soccer, he went into coaching and his first job was in 1993 with FK Obilik. He would since then remain in management with several clubs such as CS Sfaxian in Tunisia, Pegah Gilan in Iran, CSKA Sofia and so many more. His last job was with Al-shoulla in Saudi before he was relieved of his duties after 5 matches.
