Islamabad/Kabul, Sep 15 (IANS) The Taliban government in Afghanistan and the Pakistani military have exchanged insults over a conflict along the Durand Line, the nations’ worldwide land line, the media detailed.

In an explanation on Wednesday, delegate representative for Afghanistan government Bilal Karimi affirmed that the conflicts occurred in Dand Patan region in Afghanistan’s Paktia territory while Pakistani powers were attempting to fabricate a post near the line.

“As an issue of standard”, development of army bases or posts was not reasonable in that frame of mind of the Durand Line, Dawn news revealed refering to Karimi as saying.

However, the Pakistani soldiers, he guaranteed, endeavored to construct a post near the boundary and when certain individuals from the Afghan side moved toward them to examine the issue, “tragically, they were terminated upon because of which there were losses”.

“In this way, there was (an) trade of fire between the different sides which conceivably caused a few losses on the opposite side too,” he said.

The representative said the matter was being scrutinized and that they were in touch with the authority to pre-empt the development of posts in the close by regions in future.

Karimi’s remarks follow an assertion gave by the Inter-Services Public Relations, the media issues wing of Pakistan military, not long after the occurrence on Tuesday.

The ISPR said that three Pakistani soldiers were killed in terminating by “fear based oppressors from inside Afghanistan” in the overall area of Kharlachi, Kurram ancestral region.

“According to valid insight reports, because of fire of (our) own soldiers, fear based oppressors experienced weighty losses,” it further said.

“Pakistan firmly censures the utilization of Afghan soil by fear mongers for exercises against Pakistan and expects that Afghan government won’t permit direct of such exercises in future,” the ISPR had said.
