We wish to say clearly that the Osu stool has not made any public statement on the matter,” the Osu stool stated in a statement issued on Monday, May 23, 2022.

According to the Stool, several persons who have made public statements ostensibly on behalf of the Stool do not in any way represent the Stool.

The Stool identified them as “the indefinitely suspended Osu Kinawe and Osiahene, Nii Nortey Adumuah IV and the supposed spokesperson for the Osu stool, Nii Oti Ankrah,” arguing that they lack “authority to speak for either the Osu stool or the Traditional Council.”
