Ann Li is a professional tennis player from the United States. She was born on June 26, 2000. She is now ranked No. 44 in the world by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), and she finished second at the 2017 Wimbledon Junior Championships.

Li comes from a family of athletes. Her aunt was a Chinese speed skater. Her father was a college soccer player, and her mother was a college track athlete.

In 2017, at Wimbledon, Li made her first Junior Grand Slam singles final. The unseeded Li lost to third seed Claire Liu in three sets in the first all-American girls’ final since 1979.

Li won her first professional championship two weeks later in Evansville, Indiana, at a $15k tournament on the ITF Circuit.

Li competed at the Kentucky Championships, defeating Renata Zaraza, Julia Glushko, Anastasia Nefedova, and Jessica Pegula before falling in straight sets to Asia Muhammad.

At the US Open, Li defeated 13th seed Alison Riske to advance to the third round for the first time in her career. On November 9, 2020, she entered the top 100 as global No. 97.
