Henderson, Nevada is where Russell was born. His big face and chin earned him the moniker “Chumlee” when he was about 12 years old. Chumlee, Corey Harrison’s boyhood friend whose father and grandfather founded the company, started working there five years before the first season’s filming.

When he was 21 years old, Chumlee started working for the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop.
