A song by Somethin’ for the People called “My Love Is the Shhh!” that peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1997 featured the pair.

In 1999, “What’d You Come Here For?”—their following single—was made available. Both the Billboard R&B chart and the Hot 100 saw it reach its peak at positions 14 and 56, respectively. Shortly after, their self-titled album Trina & Tamara was published; it reached its peak position on the Billboard R&B albums chart at position 99.
